Effective January 13, 2026 · Last updated January 13, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SafeRedact ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

2. Description of Service

SafeRedact provides an AI-powered document redaction service that helps users permanently remove sensitive information from documents. The Service processes documents in your browser and uses AI to detect personally identifiable information (PII).

Important: Your document files never leave your browser. Only extracted text is sent for AI analysis, and that text is not stored or retained.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Demo Access

We offer a limited demo to let you try SafeRedact before purchasing. Demo access may be restricted in functionality or document processing.

Paid Plans

SafeRedact offers the following paid plans:

Payment and Billing

Prices are displayed in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred. Subscriptions (Monthly and Annual) automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Day Passes are non-refundable once activated. For subscriptions, we generally do not provide refunds, except as required by law or at our sole discretion.

5. Fair Use Policy

All paid plans include unlimited document processing for normal, individual use. Automated bulk processing, resale, or API-style usage requires an Enterprise license. We reserve the right to contact users about appropriate licensing or suspend accounts engaged in abuse.

Your Content

You retain ownership of your documents. We do not claim any rights to your content. Because your files remain in your browser, we never have access to them.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Delaware, and the decision shall be final and binding.

16. Severability
